Cleaning your Diffuser

Keep Your Diffuser Fresh and Functional! 

Hey everyone!  If you love using essential oils as much as I do, you know how important it is to keep your diffuser clean. A clean diffuser not only ensures the best performance but also maintains the purity of your favourite scents. Here’s a quick and easy guide to keep your diffuser in top shape:

1. Unplug and Empty: Always unplug your diffuser before cleaning. Pour out any remaining water and essential oils.

2. Rinse with Clean Water: Fill the tank with clean, room-temperature water and swish it around to remove any leftover oils.

3. Use White Vinegar: Add about a tablespoon of white vinegar to the water tank with some fresh water. Vinegar helps to dissolve any oils and residue.

4. Run the Diffuser: Turn on the diffuser and let it run for about 5-10 minutes. This helps to clean the internal mechanisms.

5. Scrub Gently: Use a soft cloth or cotton swab to gently clean the corners and crevices. Be careful not to scratch the ultrasonic plate if your diffuser has one.

6. Rinse Again: Empty the vinegar solution and rinse the tank with clean water. Wipe out diffuser with some soapy water. Make sure to wipe it dry with a soft cloth.

7. Dry Thoroughly: Let the diffuser air dry completely before adding new water and essential oils.
