Shower Melts

Ingredients:

1 cup Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)

½ cup Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulphate)

20 – 25 drops Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus radiata)

2 – 3 tsps Water

Instructions:

  1. Combine Baking Soda and Epsom Salts in a bowl.

  2. Add water slowly, starting with 2 teaspoons and stir well.  Continue adding a splash of water at a time and mix until you get the consistency of damp sand.  You should be able to squeeze the melt, which holds its shape

  3.  Add in your essential oils and mix thoroughly.

  4.  Fill your mould about halfway with the shower melt mixture.  Pack each mould tightly to ensure there are no air bubbles.

  5.  Cover the moulds and allow the shower melts to dry completely before removing from the moulds (about 48 hours).

  6.  Store in a jar or airtight container.

Position your shower melt on the shower floor, tucked into the coner away from the direct stream of water, to prevent it from melting too quickly, inhale and reap the benefits.

You can replace the Eucalyptus with other essential oils of your choice,
